I've barely even started Part 2, but i want to say a few things before i write the full review1. in my opinion, if you are going to make the player pay for an additional part(s) make part 1 free (note: i have no idea how marketing or whatever works, so maybe they had a 100% amazing reason to do it the way they did)2. i don't like reading but i still bought this game and have enjoyed (from what i've played even though i skip most of the text)3. (i don't think) you NEED to play Zombie Exodus to understand the story/lore of ZE:SH4. no DLC is REQUIRED to beat the game (execpt for part 2 of course) it just makes the game easier5. the rest of this review is incomplete. Great game I cant wait for the next part. This is the second zombie story by this author and the first is still one of my favorite choose your adventure zombie stories. This is still in development but so far I'm liking it even better.. Just like Zombie Exodus, the author Jim Dattilo creates a very horrifying image of what our world could become if such a virus outbreak ever happened. Highly recommended!Remember, no game.. no matter how good the graphics can ever be better then what you can imagine. We should all be much more grateful and thankful to fantastic authors like Jim Dattilo for helping us imagine worlds like he creates for us in both this text adventure and in his previous "Zombie Exodus". ..Thanks Jim! You deserve all your success multiplied by the number of zombies you helped me to imagine while I read this, and should I ever see you in a real zombie apocolypse surrounded by the dead.. I will now most definitely save you! ;-). At first a little irritating when you're new and trying to figure out how everything works. and then restarting for the 100th time. Otherwise still really fun., I'm invested heavily into my party already. This is probably my favorite Choice Game ever. It's not without some faults, though. I feel like Exodus: Part 2 was unusually short, unlike the first one which was rather on point with detail. 2: Focuses more on confirming relationships and working with the group. And surviving without your home. in the woods and discovering a future antagonistic group..My favorite background for my character is Teenager actually. Just because I feel like it adds more impact and weight to the story. However I will say I tried a few other backgrounds and Hacker is pretty ridiculously overpowered. Seriously, you can hack into ATMS to get momey, street & school cameras to get you a better idea what you're facing, also because of your hacker background you know more about the virus and how the government came to possibly create it. (You work with an underground network with other hackers, more or less.) It's not really a complaint just something I noticed while playing. Teenager naturally is pretty nerfed because your character is so young, but it also makes it only much more impressive when your teen character kicks♥♥♥♥♥ I guess that's another reason as why I like playing teen. Being able to have a dog companion is also tight as hell and is something often brought up no matter where your character is. I'd definifitely recommend training your dog regularly if you plan on making your character have a dog. There's a lot of options to customize and roleplay your character (Stats, Flaws, Weapons, Dialogue) , which I love probably the most about this game. Overall, enjoyed it. Hope the next installment comes out soon.. After playing the first Zombie Exodus (and loving it) i was extremely disapointed on how short this was compaired to it, all i can say is i wish for Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven part II but will be extremely sadened if i am forced to buy it after how short a time this was. please dont be money grabbers guys, add it to this game, without having to stick it to us with added prices.
